Great Holiday Gifts for Someone Special: 2011

Christmas is quickly approaching. Buying the perfect present is always a hard task for me, second only to telling people what I want for Christmas. This year I though I would put together a quick blog post filled with things I've found interesting, awesome & giftworthy for Christmas.

Feel free to leave reviews, ideas, suggestions and/or blog love in a comment.

A perfect gift for those that have it all--a monthly subscription to a vegan/green goodie box like Lollihop or the Conscious box. These little boxes are so cute & who doesn’t love to try new things?! Especially when they're healthy & delicious.

Tracking your mileage is so convenient with a GPS watch for running like the Garmin Forerunner 305 or the Nike Sportwatch powered by TomTom. Currently, I use the RunKeeper app on my cell phone--but this would be a great present for a runner.

Buying for someone that likes run in the cold? These North Face gloves have special fingers so you can use your favorite touchscreen device without fumbling around with your gloves!

How about a fabulous running jacket like this one from Athleta. The colors are so much more exciting than basic black & it's sure to keep you warm!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Check out these awesome shoes handcrafted from recycled bottles! These would be a great present for the eco-conscious.

RUNDIES?! Oh my, these are great for your running {girl} friends! How cute are these things? Talk about motivation.

Let me introduce you to the amazing Lush, home of fresh, handmade cosmetics. I am very much in love with every handmade product! My absolute favorite is my ‘It Started with a Kiss’ lip balm. Try one of their gift boxes for someone special.

The Frozen Fruit Soft Serve Processor by Hammacher. This machine is briliant! Frozen fruit ice cream is much healthier than those Ben & Jerry’s pints. This thing turns frozen fruits into soft-serve deliciousness.

This is a great present for the smoothie addict. I have the first generation & purchased it about 3 years ago. It still works great & I can't imagine life without it.

Know an aspiring eco-friendly child? These t-shirts are absolutely adorable & also have great messages on them. These tees are made from 100% organic cotton with water-based ink and dye.

Is your special someone interested in HIIT or Tabata style workouts? The GYMBOSS is a small, easy to use, repeating interval timer. This multi-use timer has many versatile functions that make it beneficial to virtually any type of exercise program.

Looking for a cute bag for someone with a fitness resolution for the new year? These OGorgeous bags are sure to entice your loved one to get on the bandwagon.

A great 2012 resolution would be to drink water out of reusable bottles. We can all do a little bit to make a difference. Two of my favorites are the Life Factory glass bottle with sleeve & the Bobble. The Bobble filters tap water for you--bonus!

Will your shopping be online or will you conquer the holiday crowds? I'm more of an online girl--beat the crowds & hunt down free shipping {cheapo, I know}. :)

Hope you enjoy my small list of ideas! Happy shopping.

  2. I love LUSH!! Hahah you probably already know that ;-) Their products are all incredible and I just love supporting companies that treat their employees well. :) I've been an entry-level employee for so long that I really know how much it sucks to be making less than $12/hour and be treated badly too.

This list is great! I'll have to use it for Easter =)
