When I ordered this juice at MK’s, I knew when I tried making it--I wanted more lime! The juice was great, but I needed more flavor.

Parsley is rich in many nutrients, carotene & chlorophyll. Mostly used as a garnish, it is also delicious to juice when mixed with the right things. I tend to buy a bunch for one recipe & then wonder what I will do with the rest of it.
Pears are great sources of water-soluble fiber, including pectin. I used comice pears for my juice because they were on sale at Whole Foods for 99 cents a pound.
Limes are similar to lemons in nutritional content. They are rich in vitamin C & potassium. I love the tartness of a lime mixed with the sweetness of the pear!
Recipe
1/2 bunch of parsley (approx. 1 cup chopped)
2 pears
1 lime with peel

Easy peasy! I also added a handful of spinach just because I add spinach to everything. I like to get in some extra green where I can.
Try it & let me know what you think! Happy juicing. :)
I would NEVER think to use parsley in a sweet recipe like this!! How unique :) I bet it tastes great too!! Thanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteAnytime! I've been in a juice rut & this week I vowed to create some new-ness in the juice department. This one is a BIG favorite. I shared it at work with some non-juicers & they loved it too!
